There is no doubt that events and celebrations pull people together. Here at Hudson Grande Senior Living we believe Halloween is a perfect time to build up our team and encourage workplace camaraderie. It helps create traditions, provides opportunities for intergenerational fun, and builds positive morale within the team. Plus, it’s a great holiday to let the team break loose and plan some seasonal fun!
This year, our team will have a local group of elementary-aged children in for a recital. All residents and families will be invited to attend and enjoy the performance. The children will be dressed in their Halloween costumes. Following the show, residents will be given the opportunity to return to their apartments and ready themselves for the kiddos to creep around the halls to trick-or-treat! Any staff that have children will also be able to bring them in to collect delicious treats. Creating these inter- and multi-generational events is important for both our residents and the younger participants. The relationship shows a positive back-and-forth exchange of information, culture, and much more.
Traditions like this are important because it gives Hudson Grande the opportunity to show we truly are a community, from our residents and staff to our leadership team, and all of the families in between.
Celebrating Halloween at work can be a great opportunity to have fun while team building and improving company culture. As the Business Office Director, I love having these built-in opportunities to have fun and grow together as a team!
